This is not a list of what I have in stock at any time.  Rather, it's a catalogue of all significant items released in New Zealand.  While I have 95+ percent of items released here I don't always have stocks of (a) rare, early items; (b) extremely popular toys such as Snoopy's World Tour; or (c) the very latest sets.  (I'm currently finding it very difficult to keep up with demand from foreign collectors for the 1999 sets, for example.) 

COMPOSITION OF SETS:  Where the description in the list is simply "four items" this means that there is a Birdie, Grimace, Hamburglar and Ronald in the set.  Unless stated otherwise, prices for sets are the prices for single items multiplied by the number of items in the set.

DATES ETC:  Toys and collectables are listed in order of their release in New Zealand, but some of the dates of release are my best guess.  If local collectors have more accurate information, it would be appreciated if they would let me have it.  I'd also be grateful for advice of any amendments or additions to the list.

CONDITION:  The assumption made throughout is that toys are in good condition.  Worn, damaged or dirty McDonald's toys have no value.

PRICES: are expressed in US dollars. 

MAIL ORDERS: postage is charged at cost.  Foreign orders are sent by economy air.

Dinosaur

Four toys, based on characters in the Disney full-length cartoon: Aladar (an Iguanadon, the hero of the story); Neera (another Iguanadon, Aladar’s significant other); Baylene (a Brachiosaur) and Eema (a Triceratops).

Food Foolers:

Four ingenious toys: a Fry Box Cellular Phone (ie a box of fries which converts into a cellphone, making a life-like cellphone noise); a Happy Meal Box computer (ie a box which opens out to reveal a keyboard and a screen and includes several cards which can be "plugged in" to change the screen); a McNugget Box Camera (ie a white McNuggets box which opens out to become a toy camera); and a Drink Cup Signaler (a white drink cup which emits a bright red light when the top is pressed).

Furbies:

Eight of the 80 Furbies released by McDonald's in the United States in 1999 were re-released in New Zealand in 2000.  They comprised "Black Cat" (green, with white feet and a purple top knot); "Church Mouse" (pink, with brown eyes, a red front and a blue top knot); "Contented" (yellow with a purple top knot); "Happy" (grey, with green eyes and a white top knot); "Rusty" (blue and white, with a white top knot); "Snow Leopard" (purple with black spots, and a white front and top knot); "Surprised" (red with white feet and a white top knot); and "Tough Guy" (black and white, with a white top knot).  This set came with its own  takeaway paper bag

Goldie

Ten soft toys, issued to commemorate the Sydney Olympic Games (“Goldie” was the Official Mascot of the New Zealand Olympic Team: Archery, Boxing, Cycling, Equestrian, Gymnastics, Rowing, Swimming, Taekwondo, Weightlifting and Yachting.

Four plastic toys, issued to coincide with the release of the Disney video: Floating Melody (the mermaid, in a shell); Sauntering Sebastian (the crab, as a wind-up toy); Spinning Morgana (the octopus); and Tip & Dash (the walrus & the penguin)

McChef:

Super 12 Screamers:

A really innovative set, released in New Zealand at the beginning of the rugby football season to commemorate the Rugby Super 12 Competition, which involves the five teams  represented by the toys - "Krazee Kate" (an orange and red toy in Waikato Chiefs colours, which when squeezed, says "Excellent!"); "Kool Kris" (a yellow and black toy in Wellington Hurricanes colours, which when squeezed, says "Wicked!"); "Sweet Sal" (a blue and white toy in Auckland colours, which when squeezed, says "Alright!"); "Hyper Harry" (a red and black toy in Canterbury Crusaders colours which, when squeezed, says "Get Real!"); and "Rad Russ" (a blue and yellow toy in Otago Highlanders colours which, when squeezed, says "Ruley!");

Toy Story:

The first set in 2000 is also the best set so far (although some would argue that the Millenium Collectable soft toys deserve that title). The set comprises "Hamm" (the pig, in a red cone: it's a tricky device, designed so you can pick the pig up and make it disappear into the cone); "Buzz Lightyear" (another tricky toy, his facial expression changes as the helmet is moved); "Mr & Mrs Potato Head"; "Bullseye" the pony; "Rex" the dinosaur; a "Spinning Alien"; a "Woody" marionette; and "Emperor Zurg".
